Lila Trent
Age: She
appears to be 17 or older, but she is actually only fifteen.
Appearance:
Lila's long lashes make her venomous olive eyes seem
brighter than they really are. Flowing halfway down her back is her dark
chestnut hair, which she refuses to cut. No matter how hard the facility
workers beg. Her skin is somewhat tanned, despite her copious amounts of hours
indoors, and it is covered in the occasional freckle here and there and some
burn marks from the time she tried to crawl over the electric fence. There is a
heart-shaped birth mark on her right knee-cap. She wears red lipstick
frequently, covering up her naturally full, rosy lips.
What
they're here for/mental illness: She was recently
diagnosed with bipolar disorder and hallucinations. She often argues with
herself, but for the most part she acts much crazier than she actually is.
Personality:
She's reserved, mysterious, and due to her her occasional hostility towards the
workers, doesn't get to talk to others much. She keeps to herself anyway. She's
also very stubborn and disobedient. Under her hardened shell, though, she can
be very caring and loveable.
Background:
When Lila was only six, her mother passed away. She was left with her father,
who soon turned to alcohol. One morning she woke to find him lying on the
kitchen floor, surrounded by beer bottles and pills. Dead. Her uncle took her in
shortly after, but years later sent her to the facility due to her... 'mental
troubles', as he would put it.
Other:
When living with her uncle, he began teaching her to play the violin. She
rarely plays it now, regardless of the workers' pleading.

What
they're here for/mental illness: He has bipolar disorder. His
parents couldn't deal with it, being the important business people that they
are, and sent him off to CTF (Callison Treatment Facillity).
Personality:
Xavier is awkward, nerdy, caring, and very sensitive. He can also be
rebellious, distant, guarded, and secretive, especially when he doesn't take
his medicine and has a manic or depressive episode. Most of the time, he's just
like a little kid.
Background:
Xavier's parents are well-to-do people. His mother and father
are both lawyers, and when Xavier was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when he
was 15, they realized that they couldn't give him the therapy and support he
needed. They came up with only one solution: send him to Callison Treatment
Facillity.
Other: He's
an artist, he was constantly drawing when he went over his best friend,
Cierra's, house almost everyday after school.

Name: Clare



Age: 17



Appearence: Petite and frail looking, with waves of dark hair pulled back from
her sunny, blue-eyed face. She dresses in bright, rainbow-y colours that
somehow manage to enhance her constant happiness.



What they're here for/mental illness: Some people are in CTF for depression.
Clare is here for the opposite. She is completely, unexplicably, and always,
happy and trusting. This might sound like a good thing, but it's lethal in the
real world. She can't feel pain, so she's prone to just smiling and studying at
the blood when she slices her finger chopping carrots or cutting paper. It's
impossible for her to drive, since she takes an optimistic view of every
situation. She makes friends with everyone, even the sort of people any sane
person would stay away from. When she got busted for taking illegal drugs
(someone had told her they were legal and 'perfectly safe', and she believed them),
she was enrolled in CTF to become a bit more wary and less of a danger to
herself.



Personality: There's no darkness within Clare. Every thought, every emotion, is
out there for anyone to read. It's like basking in the glow of a sunbeam of
happiness. An insane sunbeam that doesn't recognize dangerous situations, but a
sunbeam nontheless. Half the people she meets love her, love to bask in that
glow, and the other half hate her as something unnatural.


Other: She loves, absolutely loves, cooking. There's just
something so magical, so almost alchemical about mixing a bunch of culinary
items together and having them end up as something completely different, but
something with a property from each of the components.

It's really good! I was hoping to have four to start, but I might begin with
just the three of us. Hopefully more people will join as the role-play
progresses.

Name: Rex Tarses


Age: Apparently 18.


Appearance: Very short spiky pale brown hair; searching red-brown
eyes; medium tan skin; bony hands generally clenched into fists; not
particularly tall and stands hunched at the shoulders, so appears fairly short.


What they're here for/mental illness:
Rex is highly paranoid. This doesn't manifest as crippling fear: he willwarn you about
the plots he sees everywhere, and you will listen, as far as he's concerned. However,
he is also careful about making sure no one is watching, and does his best to
be stealthy; just because he feels he has to warn the unwary doesn't mean he
won't do so surreptitiously.


Personality: Harsh, blunt, but careful. To him, anyone could
be an enemy, even the people whom he warns. Other than the times when he
supplies his warnings, he does his best to stay away from people... although
being at the facility, he can't avoid it too much.


Background: ???/To be added?


Other: Has been known to cryptically
say that his sometime “actual” motto is “The minds’ eyes of the full-hearted
are blind.” No one else knows what this means, if anything, and the
motto almost certainly changes with every retelling.

Age: 11


Appearance: Shoulder-length brown hair, light blue eyes, very pale
skin, strong hands almost always clenched into fists, and rather tall for her
age.


What they're here for/mental illness:
Jenna is a guest with anger problems. Serious anger problems.


Personality: Shy, easily angered, yet very, very tough.
