Observations and Truths - Page 7 Empty Observations and Truths

Post by Starry Sat 22 Dec 2012, 10:23 pm

First topic message reminder :

Ever observe something that really, really, really, really needed to be shared? Ever realized something so undeniably true that you had to share it with someone?

Yeah, so have I. I usually share these observations/truths with the first person or people available. These lucky people usually think I'm insane. That's why I started this topic. We need a place to share these things with people who understand our craziness.

There are really no rules for this thread. Just don't use it only to chat. You CAN chat, but please put at least one observation or truth in each post. It would also be nice if you'd separate your on-topic discussion from your off-topic discussion. []s, {}s, spoiler tags or hide tags would work well for this.

Have fun!

- This July has been pretty great.

- The poor-quality pseudoresin animal figurines sometimes do have holes in them. They still sell. XP

- It takes great power to be allergic to chromium-plate.

- I have great power.

- Online conversations can leave one extremely happy and a bit breathless.

- I can confirm that many good things happened on the internet last night. :P

- Wearing jeans again after wearing only shorts for a couple weeks feels rather weird.

- Road construction will happen no matter what the people who actually live on the road think of it.

>> People buy inexplicable things.

>> I buy few things.

>> It seems I will not buy chromium.

>> Often online conversations actually proceed faster than offline ones.

>> Black carpenter pants were not meant to be worn at the height of summer.

>> Different people can be equally distracting in different ways, some better than others.

>> Site activity is low.

>> I could get off the computer now.  I might not.

- This August has been pretty unusual.

- It has also been pretty amazing.

- Sometimes silence is preferable to conversation.

- People in my town like their boxelders.

- People in my town don't like their Pin Cherries.

- I am almost a senior. D:

- This time next year, I will be freaking out about college.

- Okay, this time next month I will be freaking out about college.

- I will, however, be freaking out about different things.

- Sometimes one just can't get into a book, no matter how good it's supposed to be.

- Gravel roads aren't actually unpleasant to drive on.

- I should go outside.

- Man of Muffins! We missed you!

- Of course we're not going to kick you off the site. See above.

- I would like to know why public-schoolers hate lunch. :P

- I would not like to know it firsthand, though.

- Your second point is valid.

- Your fourth one is also valid.

- I predict that the Muffin will get a lot of use.

- I think I might have enough college brochures to cover the ceiling of my bedroom.

- It can get hot in Wisconsin!

- Trying to take something away from a cat is a dangerous activity.

- It is a horrible idea to try to remove something from a cat's mouth without first finding out what it is.

- The tails of mice have an almost plastic feel.

- Too late. Very Happy
- Coffee ice cream is the only time that coffee is enjoyable.
- Writing emails to anyone when overtired is not a good idea for me.NeutralNeutralNeutralNeutral
- I typed four smilies there ^ and for some reason I can't erase them.
I can't.
- I took advantage of my homeschoolness and took a walk on the deserted bridge near my house.
- Though it can be comical, it is quite annoying when I'm walking with my little siblings, and people either look or comment on how they hope they aren't my kids. I mean I'm 15 people. Yes, I have an 11 year old son. -_-
