Observations and Truths

Ever observe something that really, really, really, really needed to be shared? Ever realized something so undeniably true that you had to share it with someone?

Yeah, so have I. I usually share these observations/truths with the first person or people available. These lucky people usually think I'm insane. That's why I started this topic. We need a place to share these things with people who understand our craziness.

There are really no rules for this thread. Just don't use it only to chat. You CAN chat, but please put at least one observation or truth in each post. It would also be nice if you'd separate your on-topic discussion from your off-topic discussion. []s, {}s, spoiler tags or hide tags would work well for this.

-Shoveling a stuck car out of the snow in high-heeled boots is an unpleasant task and must be avoided.

-One cannot watch Doctor Who and come up with decent post ranks at the same time.

- You can't eat ice cream with your fingers...

- It is very easy to spend the whole day on the internet.

- I do not have that guy from OneDirection's haircut. He has my haircut.

- When dissing Justin Beiber, make sure you are far away from any ten year old girls.

- No one can eat spaghetti gracefully.

-Only the muffinman can eat spaghetti gracefully.

- One does not simply play trumpet with a cold.

- Muffins go stale really quickly.

-The Muffinman never allows his muffins to go stale.

- If a store says it closes at 5:00, that means you have to be done shopping and ready to leave by 5:00. 5:00 is not the latest time you can arrive.

- There is no graceful way to eat a taco.

- only the muffinman can eat a taco gracefully.

- there is no way Tobey Maguire is more dorky than Star Wars.

-you just can't win with some people (not referring to anyone on THT)

- If you plan to remove large amounts of snow from your yard, it's probably a good idea to learn to use a snowblower.

- Snow scoops are not as effective as snowblowers.

- I am sometimes too stubborn for my own good.

- You can do as many little things as you want, but it doesn't make up for procrastinating on that one big thing.

- It is hard to study biology when there are dogs barking, children crying, drums be played, and the TV blasting.

- You'll always feel better when you do what you've been avoiding.

- It's bad to waste your time acting "cool". You could be having so much fun instead.

- We should have another chat RPG.

- I should actually start organizing another chat RPG.

- The coldest day of the year is probably not the best day to spend an extended period of time outside.

- Don't eat a peach while typing on laptop....bad things will happen.

- Nothing is better than just relaxing with a good book....unless you are relaxing with a good book while eating pizza

- One does not simply, find a good book.

- When trying to jump over something on a scooter, make sure you are not going down hill...

- One can easily find a good book if one knows where to look.

- Cutting onions will make you cry. You may get out the knife and say it won't happen this time...but it will.

- American cheese is one of the worst forms of processed food ever.
