Doctor Who
Do you watch Doctor Who? If not, you should. If you do, discuss it here! Favourite Doctors and companions, best quotes, story arcs, the future of the series -- anything Doctor Who-related can be discussed here.
Re: Doctor Who
I haven't watched it before ...I'm afraid I'll get hooked if I do.
But let me just ask....is the redhead married to the blonde guy? Or the Doctor?

Re: Doctor Who
She's married to the blond guy, Rory.
Pretty much nobody important is ever married to the Doctor.

Re: Doctor Who
Is the present Doctor Who one of the more popular ones? Or do people like the previous one better?

I personally like the new doctor much more than the old one. Also, in all of the polls that I have seen the new doctor is by far the favorite doctor (In one poll he had more votes than all his predecessors combined).

Re: Doctor Who
I think the Tenth Doctor is still the most popular... but people do like the current one, the Eleventh Doctor, too.
I haven't seen any from before the Ninth Doctor, but out of the three new ones, I like them best in order of their appearance. (Ninth most, then Tenth, then Eleventh.)

I do, though it's sort of hard to compare him because he got such a short time as compared to the others.

Re: Doctor Who
Yeah he was only on for one season, I found him to be very likeable but a little bit cheesy. Did you get the same impression?

Re: Doctor Who
He was, when he was trying not to be serious. I thought he was the most interestingly "dark" character of the recent Doctors, though.

Re: Doctor Who
Have you watched the whole season of the Ninth Doctor? Bad Wolf is mentioned after his season, but it's the Ninth Doctor's last episode that explains what Bad Wolf is.

Re: Doctor Who
The episode that I just watched was the one right before the doctor regenerated into the current doctor. Bad Wolf is whispered into Martha's ear (by Rose Tyler) as she "dies".

Re: Doctor Who
Well, I know what episode you're talking about (it's "Turn Left". ), but if you haven't seen the Ninth Doctor's last episodes, the fact that Bad Wolf is mentioned in the Tenth Doctor's last episodes won't make sense.

Re: Doctor Who
I've seen the episode where The Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack arrive at satellite 5 which is a game show. And I know that Rose (who absorbed the soul of the Tardis) is Bad Wolf, but why does it show up again in Turn Left?

Re: Doctor Who
I can't say I know, exactly. I think it's just relating to the fact that Rose is breaking back into the universe where she's designated as Bad Wolf, from being in a universe where she doesn't mean anything in particular.

I've seen all except the first 3 episodes of the previous season, and I'm waiting for the new season too.

Re: Doctor Who
I've seen "Rose," everything from "The Christmas Invasion" to "Evolution of the Daleks," and a few scattered episodes with the Eleventh Doctor.

Re: Doctor Who
So I watched the season finale a few days ago and wasn't that impressed. Not that the episode was bad or anything, I just think the build up to it was a bit rushed and the ending very abrupt. What I'm REALLY looking forward to is the 50th Anniversary which will be on November 23. It better be worth the 5 month wait
